Project idea


Rational usage of the space available to provide effective connectivity, roads, transport system and platform for pedestrians, street vendors. By considering the needs of the disabled. Create an interactive street plaza that caters to a large user group.


Need for the project


The Doddanekundi ward houses people from a lot of streams. It consists of tech-parks, Institutions, malls, commercial spaces and also residences. There are a lot of junctions within the ward where it is almost impossible to surpass the traffic. The connectivity duration of travel and other aspects should be worked on and the streets are not designed for the disabled and thus do not support their activities.


Objective of the project


- Reduce Traffic congestion

- Well planned Street-furniture

- Storm-water management and Rainwater harvesting.

- Landscape design for green buffer zones

- Designing for the disabled

1. Traffic congestion.


2. Lack of green cover and proper pedestrian-way.


3. Presence of important landmarks. Highly commercial area.


4. Connects a number of Tech parks.


5. Under-utilised median.


6. Proximity to public transportation.

  • Area of the site - 23760 sqm

  • The main access road is ITPL Mainroad.

  • Key features are Tech parks, Brookefield mall, Institutions, land belonging to ISRO.
