Mugil R | Proposal of governmental services to spread across the ward in a more accessible and user-friendly way.
Project description
Project idea
Services like Bangalore one, public toilet, drinking water booth, health-related services need to spread across the ward. Each service will be treated as a module and the modules will be placed across the ward and it will be completely user friendly and usable at any time.
Need for the project
There are places in the ward which lack government offices and those places need one. Services like Bangalore One and office for small documents works are placed in one part of the ward and people from other part has to reach the offices for a small job in Bangalore traffic is more time-consuming. similarly, drinking water and public toilets will also be addressed.
Objective of the project
1. Reinventing of Bus stops.
2. Self-service Kiosk across the ward.
3. Public drinking water facility.
4. Public toilets in public gathering spaces.
5. First Aid medication available across the ward.
6. New offices in Doddanekundi and Thubarahalli.
7. Recreational spaces in Doddanekundi area.

Site selection criteria
1. Accessible by a pedestrian.
2. Maximum visibility from all sides.
3. Maximum footfall area.
4. Space for future expansion.
5. Accessibility by vehicles.
Site details
Area of the site - 3000 sqm
Main access roads are Doddanekundi main road.
Key features: The site selected has the potential of becoming a landmark. Right in front of the entry to the Doddanekundi urban village with two sides opened to green can be a great recreational space for Doddanekundi.
