Project idea
To engage the lake edge and a space to facilitate social interaction between different user groups and create a sense of community while improving both physical and mental health.
Allow commercial businesses around the area to co-exist and benefit economically.
Need for the project
Kundalahalli lake as of now just serves as a pathway from one side to the other. The whole area is IT-dominated with some Residential area in the mix. Open spaces for public activities are found to be lacking in this region. This area required a well-planned green-breakaway space from the above with the aim of reviving the lake itself and making it more accessible to the public.
Objective of the project
-Cater to the vast demography and promote social interaction.
-Providing a Green belt acting as a relief from the Industrial Belt.
-Growth of the Commercial Sector and provide job opportunities to the Low-income group (Organized space provided for the relocation of vendors).
-Engaging the lake edges.

Site selection criteria
1. First criteria: The site should have a large expanse.
2. Second criteria: The site caters to all age groups.
3. Third criteria: The site should have the possibility of multiple entries.
4. Fourth criteria: The site should have a lakeside view.

Area of the site - 98500sqm
Main access roads are (on foot) Via Village Road, via Kalyani Platina Entrance Rd,
(2,4 wheeler) via EPIP Zone Whitefield Rd, via Graphite India Main Rd/ITPL Main Rd/Kundalahalli Main Rd and Rd, Number 2 then onto John F Welch Rd
Key features are Site is close to the Kundalahalli lake, Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd next to the site
