G M Sneha | A walk in nature for a healthier, happier community where you can reacquaint yourself, take back memories whether taking your dog for a walk, playing basketball or having a picnic.

Project description

Project idea

Parks play a very important role, especially in the health aspect. There is a serious threat due to inactivity. The idea of Prakruthi is to have a park within the walk-able distance, so as to increase the park usage and promote a healthier lifestyle and interaction among people.

Need for the project

There are a number of parks in the ward, some that are actively being used and some that aren’t. However, they lack variety in activities to cater to different user groups. The lack of a park within the walk-able distance leads to the necessity of one in the area, catering to all user groups. The issues it addresses include the piling up of construction debris on the site, garbage dumping, lack of proper edge condition etc.

Objective of the project

The objective of Prakruthi is to provide the public with a park and recreation space that is inclusive, pet-friendly, diverse, educative and equipped with a wide range of user-group specific activities to promote Physical and Mental health, boost knowledge and improve social interaction among users.
