Project description
Project idea
The idea is to rethink streets as an interactive space between people of different backgrounds by redesigning the pathways and introducing market spaces, etc.
Need for the project
1. To ease the mobility for a residential neighbourhood in and around the lake.
2. To rethink the lake edges and the connection to the urban village.
3. To preserve the cultural heritage which has lost its significance over the years like Ashwath Katte, temples, etc.
Objective of the project
The core objective of the project is to re-establish the connection between the urban fabric and the lakefront and to understand the social fabric in that area.
