Project idea
The idea is to provide gathering spaces and Sports centers for families and social groups, as well as for individuals of all ages and economic status. As of now there are a few parks which only cater to children and not to the people of all ages in this ward.
Need for the project
Doddanekundi ward has many parks which cater to only children but barely any sports centers and parks which cater to everyone. Recreational activity is a tangible reflection of the quality of life in a community. These spaces bring people of all ages, cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds together. It is an escape, a place to meet new people, a place to socialize which is essential in any community. They have many environmental benefits as well.
Objective of the project
The living room is where the family comes together to socialise, reconnect and rejuvenate. If we look at the bigger picture parks and recreational spaces are the living rooms of the ward.

1. First criteria: Site should be public land 2. Second criteria: Site should be located in a residential area
3. Third criteria: Site should be accessible
4. Fourth criteria: Site should cater to a wide diversity
