Redefining suburban tracks

Divyashree | This project is to reuse and redevelop the railway track area making it public friendly, interactive space which focuses on retaining biodiversity and generating revenue.

Project idea

The idea of the project is to improve the track area and making it public friendly and also contribute to the growth of the city both via commerce and satisfactory provisions and infrastructure.

Need for the project

The unused space around the track creates a harmful void around the track which is misused for garbage dumping and are accident-prone zone.The efficient treating of the railway tracks with proper infrastructure with a community gathering and relaxing space and efficient landscaping that serves the purpose of bisecting the track and the road will reduce the risk of accidents in the ward where the track runs.

Objective of the project

The main aim of the project is to develop the chosen area into a proper working role model for all the other wards of the cities to inspire from. Also to adopt a modern and futuristic approach the place of whatever intervention we do .

2. Second criteria: local demography of all age groups should be present.
