Project idea

Using Cargo Containers as the basic building unit and making them into modules providing a different range of services as per the location of the bus stop requires.

Need for the project

The bus stop is the first point of contact between the passenger and the bus service, providing better infrastructure and services will promote an increase in the use of buses. The location and design of the bus stop affect the movement pattern of vehicles and pedestrians and other activities in general within its catchment area.

Objective of the project

- Providing better services at a given bus stop.

- Making the bus stop disabled-friendly.

- Strengthen regional connectivity (Providing cycle parking).

- Identify and catalyze public life in and around the transit hub.

1. Existing bus stops which lack basic amenities (Shelter+ seating)

2. Minimum space required - (2.5m x 12m)
