Project idea

An idea to develop parks and connect it with the lakefront, that encourage and help children and families to connect and rewind with nature and outdoors activities which are safe and also cater to the existing activities and people that use the space .

Need for the project

To be able to cater to the vast and diverse demography within the ward by providing barrier free zones that encourage interaction and resolving problems such as lack of hawker zones, public gathering spaces and amenities by enhancing existing open spaces which will encourage and help the neighborhood to grow together as a community .

Objective of the project

A connection between the vital parks within the ward to the lakefront which forms a prominent recreational space that caters to all sought of users and encourages activities that is socially and economically beneficial to the neighborhood.

1. First criteria: easily accessible.

2. Second criteria: situated within a residential zone .

3. Third criteria: caters to all users .

4. Fourth criteria: adds to the green belt of neighborhood.
