Sruthi Ajith Nair | Creating Nodes in the urban form by re-establishing some parks into recreational spaces for the youth of the community to come together and interact.
Project description
Project idea
These nodes are selected based on the surrounding context of the park i.e presence of a school, college or residential areas. The scope also includes the streets leading to these nodes, making them pedestrian-friendly & incorporating bicycle lanes thus making it more accessible.
Need for the project
Social isolation among youth is very common leading to the increased crime rate in the age group. The ward having the majority of its population falling under this age group shows the need for such recreational spaces. This can build a sense of moral responsibility among them and help better the state of the ward
