Project idea
The main idea of the project is to rejuvenate the unused spaces that are under the flyover by integrating with the surrounding, catering to the needs of the public and achieving general transition around the space.
Need for the project
The spaces beneath the flyover end up creating defunct spaces, most of these spaces at the moment are currently stopped by hard boundaries and since the ward as a whole lacks public interactive spaces, underneath flyovers are one such type of space worth exploring. These spaces can be transformed into creative venues for various community facilities and outdoor activities.
Objective of the project
The spaces beneath the flyover are cut-off from the public creating unpleasing environment under them. The core objective of the project is to achieve continuity of urban fabric between the place of residents and IT sections by segregating functions which caters to them.
Project site details
Site selection criteria
1. First criteria: Outer Ring Road is the main avenue for the abundance of techpark
2. Second criteria: The presence of IT tech parks, mall, other commercial and residential spaces around the
site could cater large footfall of users as they would the stakeholders
3. Third criteria: The zone has a main spine which is the outer ring road, gives great connectivity to the ward being the most used road.
4. Fourth criteria: The area acts as an inter-motor transit zone with all three types of transport.
5. Fifth criteria: The IT sectors throughout the stretch and the presence of mall gives the highest scope to the site as it can cater to different users.

Area of the site - 39000 sqm
Main access roads are Outer ring road, Doddanekundi main road and Ghoshala road
Key features are Soul Space Arena, IEDB Mall, Rainbow hospital and Bagmane Tech Park
